Eating out is a big part of our food culture.

In addition to being tasty, restaurants in Korea are not on the pricey side.

That's why people eat out quite often.

There are endless types of restaurants to choose from.

There is everything from traditional Korean restaurants to western-style restaurants.

These days, demand for Southeast Asian food has spiked.

The number of Thai and Vietnamese restaurants has increased noticeably.

It's common to see families eating together, or office workers eating at restaurants for lunch.

Also, there are many ritzy restaurants where people can celebrate special occasions.

외식은 우리 식생활 문화에 큰 부분을 차지한다.

한국에 있는 음식점들은 맛도 있고 가격도 높은 편이 아니다.

그래서 사람들이 외식을 자주 한다.

음식점의 선택권도 폭이 넓다.

전통 한국음식점에서 서양 음식점까지 종류가 다양하다.

요즘에는 동남아 음식에 대한 수요가 급증하면서, 태국 음식이나 베트남 음식점들의 수도 많이 늘었다.

가족 간의 오붓한 식사나 직장인들이 동료들과 함께 식당에서 점심을 먹는 것은 흔히 볼 수 있는 광경이다.

특별한 날을 기념하기 좋은 고급 식당도 많은 편이다.
